Slipknot

Here you will find all the albums I own by Slipknot:

 Slipknot

Slipknot's self-titled debut album was a very loud wake up call for metal fans.
It mixed roaring vocals (provided by front man Corey Taylor) with very heavy music.

If you ask someone who is not a respectable metal fan to name a slipknot song they will no doubt say 'Wait And Bleed.' But true fans of metal know that slipknot have produced far better than this.

The album is heavy, fast and good to listen to when your angry. Its very fast too, so speed metal fans will be pleased greatly with this masterpiece.

Basically, if you like heavy music which is very fast, and don't mind a vocalist that only roars, then you will love this. If you are a new metaler, then you may want to wait a bit before you try this.

Iowa

WOW. That's the perfect way to describe slipknots follow up album to there debut. It exchanges speed for heaviness, and although the first album was heavy, this album is that much heavier.

Play this album very load, it is so amazing! The standout songs are 'People = Shit', 'The Heretic Anthem' and 'Left Behind.'

You can mosh in your own bedroom with this gem!

Go get it..................why are you still here? go now!

 Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses

Slipknot's third album, Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses. This was not the follow up that was expected. Some people accepted it as a change for the band, but others thought that it was nothing like the Slipknot they know and love.

In my view, this is Slipknot's poorest album to date, with only a few worth while songs. These include 'Duality', 'The Blister Exists', and 'Vermillion.' If you don't like Slipknots previous albums and like a softer sound then this maybe the album for you, but if you prefer brutal in-your-face music then steer clear.
